Friday Night Lights!

I am addicted again <3>

Anyway, my mother has been bugging me to finish doing all of my pending stuff and to stop procrastinating. Blehhh. I am finding it hard to not procrastinate. I MUST CHANGE THAT. If not..I go nowhere.

On a happier note, Jens Lehmann is BACK AT ARSENAL! He is gonna be the 'cover' goalie cause Szczesny is injured..and so is Fabianski. And Szczesny (OMG ITS SO HARD TO SPELL IS NAMEE!) could be out for the rest of the season ): And Vermaelen is officially out for the rest of the season too. So is Djourou with a dislocated shoulder. Siannn. FABREGAS AND WALCOTT MUST RECOVER SOON. It seems like the team is a lil' depleted. But at least RVP injury layoff wasn't as long as expected. COME ON ARSENAL. Good comeback yesterday against West Brom..but its not over yet. Still a game in hand..and yet to play Manchester United at home. It's ours for the taking. COME ON GUNNERS. It's time to end the trophy drought and bring a trophy back home to The Groove :D

Fuck you Barcelona. Arsenal is not a loser like you and Arsenal didn't need the referree to side you to win you at the Emirates. And Xavi should jus shut the fuck up about Arsenal not playing 'joyfully.' Seriously. Your team is the one full of cunts. Arsenal lost but they didn't loose their dignity. So you know what? I am proud of my team regardless of it. They fought with so much of heart..something that you probably lack. And we have Jack Wilshere..who has more desire and heart than any of your Barca cunts..and he will bleed and give everything for Arsenal. Dani Alves should jus shut the fuck up. He freaking hit RVP at the throat. Van Persie DID NOT commit any serious offence..and RVP was right. The red card was a joke. And whatever..Barca might have had the lion's share of possession..but you know what? They couldn't find the back of the net easily. That itself speaks volumes of the heart and desire Laurent Koscielny and Johan Djourou showed. So yes, the red card was cheap and did change the game. Maybe Arsenal would have gotten through if RVP had stayed on. We can only speculate..we wouldn't know for sure cause the referree (who was practically Barca's 12th man) killed the game.

Going through uni apps. MAJOR HEADACHE. Where? Which course? yada yada. I hope everything will be okay in the end.

Alevels results are outtt.

The anxious waiting is over. OMG, imagine waiting for it for 3 months. It almost felt like I had never written a major examination in the first place! Haixx..anyway, its over.

And now I'm down doing uni applications. Where? Which course? Many questions. But oh wells, whether I will get in is an entirely different matter as the cut offs vary and apparently from several friends whom I have spoken to..the 0th percentile can differ a lot from the 10th percentile grades reflected on the websites. No, I am not gonna apply to NUS Law or Medicine. I am more realistic than that :D

Maybe I will start on Wednesday. I shall jus fill in the choices. After a good chat with the parents, I kinda have an idea of which courses to apply to. And I am still clueless on whether I should continue with UK apps..I mean come on! It's late app already! I probably have to have an impeccable Personal Statement..let alone the impeccable grades..to even stand a chance of getting in! But oh wells, we will see. UCAS still says that 30 June is the deadline. It really depends on the quality of the personal statement I can churn out and luck. oh lady luck. Please be good to me. Its surprising how some people whom you expected to easily ace Alevels didn't do as well as expected. Scary.

I shall jus apply..and pray to God fervently that everything will be okay. It has to. I mean even if I don't get my first choice..hopefully I wouldn't be forced to do something I am totally not interested in.

And as for those who didn't meet expectations..don't let some certificate determine who you are for the rest of your life. There is so much more in life yet to come..and this is jus a small part of what is to be. There are always other paths for you. Don't EVER give up :D

I guess thats something I should tell myself too..cause MATH..totally got messed up for the Alevels. Oh wells. I am happy with the rest at least. But no point crying over spilt milk. Maybe I should have mugged more..studied harder..whatever. Maybe I should have done the tutorials more promptly and gone for more consultations. But screw it. It's over. And all I can and should be doing now is to look forward and move on. There's no other way..whether I like it or not. Regardless, I am proud of those who got Straight As and can immediately get into the course of their choice. To the rest..all we can do is wait and hope that everything will be all right and we will still get what we want.

I really hope I do.
