Not that it helps that much. The self-proclaimed number one babe magnet at The Emirates simply spends his days opening fan mail containing photos - among other things - and requests for his phone number from gaa-gaa fans.

It's enough to drive a man mad - but not Nasri, who has long since grown accustomed to his sex-symbol status and deals with it like any red-blooded male - by seeking refuge in video games.

The French winger of Algerian descent, signed for ?12m from Marseille in the summer, said: 'I spend lots of time at home playing Pro Evolution Soccer. Ever since I have been a professional footballer it has been harder for me to go out and not be noticed.

'Especially by female fans. I have never had any problems with women I often get letters from girls, who send me their phone numbers and photos. They want to contact me because I am a footballer.'

It's not all fun for Nasri though. He is starting to tire of his virtual life behind drawn curtains and now wants to find true love.

And he modestly added: 'Things have always worked for me in the female department - but I want people to be interested in me for who I am and not for my money.'

It's not good enough being beautiful for Nasri - he also dresses the part too and admitted that the fashion police regularly patrol the Arsenal dresssing room.

Nasri actually admitted he has a rival in the eye-candy stakes, revealing: 'The most stylish footballer I have ever met is Djibril Cisse at Marseille.

'Everyone knows he is fashion-conscious.
