Chelsea 1-2 Arsenal ;D
OMG! Words cannot explain how happy I am! (:
Two goals from Van Persie within a span of 3 minutes seals victory (:
I thought Chelsea played quite well in the first half.
Even though they didn't create THAT many, they seemed in control of the game at that point of time.
An own goal from Djourou gave Chelsea the lead in the first half. I thought he actually had a good game..was unlucky to get the own goal.
I think Arsenal's defence was quite good. Last time, I would always fear that Arsenal wouldn't be able to control the long balls. But they did pretty well in this game regarding that (:
They were an aerial threat to Chelsea as they were mostly winning the headers throughout the game.
I think the Djourou-Gallas centre back partnership might just work out..it worked out pretty well in this game.
Arsenal's attack on the wings were pretty stifled in the first half. Nasri and Denilson weren't really able to attack fluidly on the wings but that changed in the second half. Clichy and Sagna went more forward in the second half as well. I think Arsenal's mentality changed quite a lot in the second half.
They seemed to be winning most of the balls and they aced the midfield battle. Arsenal's midfield was pretty inexperienced compared to Chelsea's 5-man midfield comprising of the likes of Deco, Lampard, Ballack, Mikel and Kalou.
But credit to Arsenal for the way the performed in the second half. And credit to Van Persie as well for those two goals (:
And also Ade who had a hand in both goals. The first goal was scored coming from an offside position. Its time Arsenal gets some luck regarding this anyway. Couple of years ago, Van Persie scored a goal against Chelsea from an onside position and yet, the goal got ruled out. So this time round its like..the other way round (:
And the second goal was an Ade assist that came from a Cesc Fabregas free kick. How many times have Arsenal played better but yet lost? Its about time Arsenal get some luck which they got in this match.
Everyone was pretty taken back that Arsenal scored cause Chelsea had a record of not conceding in the second half coming into this match. But there's always a first time (:
But I thought Arsenal played extremely well in the last fifteen minutes. Suddenly they were making great runs..most notably the one from Gael Clichy.
So I just hope that all of them would remember the last fifteen minutes of the match and continue that kind of performance for the forthcoming matches (:
I would give credit to William Gallas..I thought he had a great match (:
And Denilson played well even though he was played out of position on right wing. So doubters proved wrong again. But this should be the starting of something bigger (:
All the Arsenal players had an emotional celebration at the end of the match..they threw their jerseys to the crowd (:
Well..keep the spirit going, guys (:
I should not get too carried away by this result. Yes, its a good result but its just a result. Three points and thats it.
I thought Arsenal showed great mentality in coming from behind to win. So this winning mentality should continue. And also..this result will help their confidence. So its been a great weekend. (:
All right. I'm off now. Leaving for holiday on Thursday night (:
I am feeling quite lazy. And I am home alone at the moment..so basically, I am having a BLAST (:
Being the only child has its own advantages (:
All right. Off now.

Flamini eyes Gunners return
AC MILAN midfielder Mathieu Flamini has refused to rule out a return to Arsenal.
The midfielder moved to the San Siro on a free in the summer after spending four years with the Gunners.
But the 24-year-old has fuelled speculation he could be open to a move back to England after struggling to hold down a regular place in Italy.
And with Arsenal having lost six times in the league already this season, speculation is rife the anchorman could return to the Emirates to revive their fortunes.
Asked if he would consider a return to the Premier League, Flamini said: “You never know in football.
"I am only young but I am at happy at Milan.
“Of course I miss it, I really like to play in England because the game is very quick and physical but I have a new challenge in Italy and I really want to find my place in this team.
“I really want to perform well and win trophies with Milan but afterwards you never know.
“It was great to play in the Premier League. I had a really amazing time and I still have really good friends at Arsenal.”
Adapted from The Sun
If I have a dream that I want to come true, this would be it. I miss this fellow loads..like one side I feel so pissed off with him that he left, one side I feel thankful for what he had done for Arsenal, and on another side, I miss him loads ):
Its not like there's a high probability of him returning, but there is a chance. He seemed like he DID miss Arsenal while giving the interview which I watched.
But well..most ex-Arsenal players say they miss Arsenal and stuff..but it does not guarantee the fact that they might come back one day.
But the difference in Mathieu Flamini's case is that he left when he was quite young..so there is a greater possibility of him returning. Unlike the case of Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira, they left in their late 20s. And they had their best days at Arsenal.
Well, I don't think Mathieu's best days are over...and hopefully if they aren't, he'd have them at Arsenal.
Fingers crossed anyway.
I love this song. I feel like its quite meaningful (:
Its kind of old..but its still really nice (:
'Who we are' by Hope Partlow
I don't wanna put on my make-up
Just like every girl in a magazine
That's not who I am when I wake up
That's not who I wanna be
There's so much more to me than meets the eye
In this life, I know one thing
It doesn't really matter what u wear
Let the people stare
Cause we are who we are who we are who we are
It doesn't really matter what car u drive
It's good to be alive
Yeah, we are who we are who we are who we are
Who we are
Tell me baby, do I look like the real thing
Or would you change the color of my eyes?
Tell me why my television's fillin' me with lies
It doesn't really matter what u wear
Let the people stare
Cause we are who we are who we are who we are
It doesn't really matter what car you drive
It's good to be alive
Yeah we are who we are who we are who we are
Who we are...
There is beauty on the inside
Yeah you're beautiful, alright...
Oh it doesn't really matter what u wear
Let the people stare
Cause we are who we are who we are who we are
It doesn't really matter what car you drive
It's good to be alive
Yeah, we are who we are who we are who we are...

Flamini - Cesc deserves itFormer Gunner backs new skipper and club to bounce backFormer Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini believes Cesc Fabregas deserved to be named the Gunners' new captain.
Spain international Fabregas was handed the armband on Monday after William Gallas was relieved of the duty following controversial comments about his team-mates.
Flamini spent four years at Arsenal, enjoying his best form at Emirates Stadium last season, before signing for Italian giants AC Milan in the summer.
The Frenchman was in action in Thursday's 2-2 Uefa Cup draw at Portsmouth and, speaking after the game, he backed Arsene Wenger's decision to appoint Fabregas as skipper.
He told Sky Sports News: "I am not surprised by the choice. I have talked with him [Fabregas] a bit about it and he is very happy.
Gallas' words
"It is great for him, for the club and for the fans. He is a big player in that team. I think he deserves it."
When asked if he understood Gallas' criticism of his team-mates, Flamini said: "It is difficult to say. William Gallas wanted maybe a reaction from his team-mates.
"It is never easy to know what to do. Maybe it will be positive and there will be a reaction from the team."
Of Arsenal's testing start to the season, he added: "Big clubs can have difficult periods. But there is a lot of quality at Arsenal so I am sure they will go forward.
"The important thing is to keep working hard and I am sure they will be okay. They have some amazing players."
Adapted from SkySports
How amazing would it have been if Mathieu Flamini was still in Arsenal?
AC Milan drew with Portsmouth 2-2..and they should have lost by right. Two goals from Ronaldinho and Inzaghi during the dying minutes of the game helped them salvage a point from Fratton Park.
How do you feel, Mathieu? AC Milan is greater than Arsenal, eh?
How would it have been if you just decided to stay on at the Emirates?
Wouldn't you have been able to win the hearts of the millions of Arsenal fans around the world?
How did it feel when you left us..and you knew that we wanted you to stay?
Hope you're enjoying your life at Milan..and don't ever repent leaving Arsenal..cause its too late.
You have left us for good.
You'd never be part of Arsenal again..ever.
Thanks for the good times you gave us though..I appreciate it.
But I don't appreciate the fact that you left Arsenal..
All right. Went out today to Causeway.
Thanks for all the birthday presents (: (:
I really really appreciate them (:
Watched KM31(Hell's highway) at first. It was rated sixteen (I AM LEGAL to watch it!).
It was quite crappy...Shalini wanted to watch it cause it was a horror movie. I wanted to watch it cause it was a SPANISH movie.
But it really sucked..I didn't even fully understand it! Shalini fell asleep while watching please! And the climax was SUPER gory..but anyway..I don't recommend anyone to watch it..unless you are sure to be able to understand the plot.
And if you do, please be a kind soul and explain it to me (: Thanks.
Then after that..Shalini, Kiru and I watched Quarantine!
It was quite good...but I got super irritated while watching cause the stupid woman(the main character) kept screaming! And it was REALLY getting on my nerves cause I couldn't understand what she was saying! And the camera was shaking TOOOOO much..especially towards the end. I sort of had a headache after watching it. But I would give Quarantine 3/5.
It was the remake of REC...but PLEASE, WATCH REC BEFORE WATCHING QUARANTINE!
If you don't understand Spanish, get subtitles. The Spanish version which is the original version is SO much better. Quarantine is only okay.
It is slightly..different from REC. But still REC is better. The acting was much more real and the main character doesn't scream until she pisses you off.
So yea..like I guessed..Quarantine was not really good. Maybe if I had watched Quarantine and not REC, I might have liked Quarantine more. But REC was soo good man..and next to it, Quarantine kind of sucked. Yea. Thats in my opinion anyway.
All right..I feel really cynical. You can probably infer that from my post.
I am in a sort of angry mood. UGH! Its hard to control emotions.
Anyway..thanks to Tharsh, Dhanya, Kiru and Shalini..I really loved today's company from all of you and thanks soo much for those presents (:
And I hope you liked the Swensens treat even though the service was really bad. But yea.
All of us wore jerseys today..well except Shalini cause I forgot to bring for her my fake Arsenal jersey to wear.
I wore the AUTHENTIC ARSENAL JERSEY. And this guy who walked past me went like,"Ooh, Arsenal eh?"
And I'm like..er okayy. Ofcourse I support and love Arsenal..if not, why would I wear an Arsenal jersey!?
All right. I should stop now. My mood swings are taking their toll on me.
All right..have a great weekend people!

Gael: Gallas 'shattered' the Gunners
GAEL CLICHY has accused William Gallas of smashing Arsenal’s team morale. Boss Arsene Wenger stripped Gallas of the captaincy after he slated his team-mates.
And Clichy said: “It has shattered something within the squad.
" It is something that should have remained between him and the boss even though there may be some truth in what William said.”
The Gunners ended a nightmare run of results by beating Dynamo Kiev 1-0 to reach the Champions League knockout stages on Tuesday.
But left-back Clichy, 23, added: “The manager and William have since discussed the matter but it is still a shame.
“It is done now, and there is no going back. It is now down to the players and staff to glue the fragments back together and move on.
“What William said was difficult, not only because he was the captain but because he is an experienced player.”
Adapted from The Sun
All right. Even though the ranting about William Gallas should sort of come to an end, the wounds left would still be there.
Those comments were quite...blunt. I mean..telling through the media was really not appropriate, especially at this point of time.
Well..as Gael Clichy said, it is time to move on. We can't just keep pin-pointing at whatever he did and make William Gallas seem like the bad guy. Everyone makes mistakes..so like I said in my previous post, we should forgive and forget (:
Another article now.
Cesc calls on wise Thierry
CESC FABREGAS will pick the brains of Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira as he tries to lead Arsenal back into the title race. The new skipper says his side MUST win at Chelsea on Sunday as they are 10 points behind the leaders.
Fabregas, 21, made a winning start to captaincy with a 1-0 victory against Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.
But the Spaniard wants to call on the experience of two former Gunners skippers to help him in his new role.
He said: “I still speak on the phone to Thierry and I will ask him about it.
“I’d love to talk with Patrick about the job as well because he has so much experience.
“It’s a big job on and off the pitch and everything is new to me at the moment. But I’m sure I’ll find out very quickly.
“It’s true that we are 10 points behind, so our immediate target is to win at Chelsea.
“Sunday is a good opportunity to get some points back and a couple of weeks after we have Liverpool at home.
“So we have to focus on winning and putting the pressure back on those ahead of us. If we can do that, things can change quickly.
“We have only played 14 Premier League games and it is not over yet.”
Fabregas is also looking forward to playing against a team who will attack, after spending much of the season battling sides with no positive ideas.
He said: “All the teams in the league know they have to defend a lot when they play Arsenal.
“Sometimes it looks as though they have spent all week in training just on defending. But if we want to win something, we have to overcome everything.”
Adapted from The Sun
Well yea..nice to hear that he kind of consulted some of the captains whom he played under for 'tips' on captaincy.
I think Cesc Fabregas was chosen over Gael Clichy for captaincy due to the fact that Fabregas has more experience captaining...cause he captained Spain U-17.
Yea..maybe its cause of that..I'm just guessing here. Anyway, Cesc Fabregas said in an interview that he didn't want to reveal whom he consulted regarding captaining..so I don't know how this article assumed it was Thierry Henry. LOL.
But Thierry was a great captain..and he led Arsenal to the Champions' League Final (in Paris).
Lets not talk about that match..cause it was like against Barcelona. I wonder how it would feel like if Arsenal and Barcelona play against each other in this season's Champions' League. LOL.
Cesc Fabregas said that he would love to play against his former club(Barcelona)..so it would be a mouth-watering encounter (:
Anyway..I really feel like Barcelona is on CRAZY form. Seriously crazy.
They are scoring like...so many goals! They are scoring at an average of FIVE GOALS per match!
Like OMG PLEASE! But I still don't think Hleb has been good as he was at Arsenal. He seems more on the periphery..yeah. Hope he hits top form soon (: And I hope Arsenal get back to usual form as soon as possible (:
Anyway, I feel like posting this picture.
It was Van Persie, Cesc Fabregas and Gael Clichy during the 04/05 season.
They were like..SUPER young then. Okay, they are still quite young. But they were even younger than. They were like part of the Arsenal Reserves and Arsenal substitutes then. But now, they are part of Arsenal's strongest line-up (:
Okay I was watching this old, old Liverpool vs Arsenal match. Well, it wasn't actually that old. It was last season's fixture.
And I was just watching it yesterday..cause I remember that match was a really good match. It finished as a 1-1 draw anyway..but the football played was really good (:
And I was watching mainly to see if there are any differences between the current Arsenal side and the Arsenal side last season..in other words, Arsenal without Hleb and Flamini.
Well..I have to admit Arsenal seems pretty much the same. In the sense, the mentality and stuff are the same.
I just think the current side is less consistent than before. Besides that, they are pretty much the same. I feel like Samir Nasri can do what Hleb used to do...but I think he just has to work on his consistency. Cause he plays superbly well in one match, and in the next match he's a little anonymous. So if Samir Nasri is able to get into each game, I think he would be a great (:
As for Flamini, yes, its true that he was working his ass off and providing cover for the defence in his defensive midfield position. But if Arsenal's defensive midfielder can like be a bit tougher, I think he can be as good as Flamini. Flamini was tough..but Arsenal's current DM is not as tough.
Yea..thats in my opinion anyway (:
Anyway, enough about Arsenal. LOL.
So, today is my sixteenth birthday. LOL.
Thanks for everyone who wished mee (: I really, really appreciate it (:(:
So I am finally sixteen. How does it feel being sixteen? Its normal. LOL. I'm still the same person anyway. Only my age is different. HAHA.
So, Causeway with Kiru, Shali, Dhanya and Tharshini tomorrow..and hopefully Brindha can come too (:
So I didn't do much today. Went to John Little..and I saw Little Britain series on sale in one of the shops in Plaza Sing. (: Matt Lucas is funnyy! HAHA.
I feel pretty drained out..BLEH. I want to watch WILD CHILD! and QUARANTINE! HAHA.
And I feel like rewatching REC! (:
OH, I finished If tomorrow comes by Sidney Sheldon. OMG. ITS SO SO SO SO NICEE!
Well..the book is really old actually. But I managed to get it from the library..and its so nice!
Its about this woman, Tracy Whitney. And its about her life..how she turns from a banker to a con artist. And she is SO FREAKING CLEVER!
Like seriously..WOAH!
And the whole story is like this roller coaster ride. HAHA. I really enjoyed it (:
Jeff Stevens is hot B:
HAHA. He is one of the characters in the story anyway (:
All right, I feel like eating dinner now even though its barely 8pm here. LOL.
HUNGRY! I slept for like 3 hours...haha. I am such a lazy pig! LOL.
Hello Samir Nasri aka Vampire (:
I was almost...shocked. I found SO MANY Nasri websites (Sorry, I couldn't understand them as they were in French).
I could only understand a little..and it took me a while to decipher some of the meanings. Yeah.
And those people..they are OBSESSED OVER HIM. Well, I got that picture from one of his NUMEROUS fansites. But yea..seriously..obsessed to the maximum over him!
And I'm like WOAH..They like him so much! And most of them support Arsenal cause of him. LOL.
I mean..I know some people who support teams cause of one of two players. But these people are like obsessed over him. Most of them are under Skyrock..yea. Its really quite astonishing. LOL. This girl took a video of him signing an autograph for her.
And another girl bought this Levi shoes..and wrote 'I love Nasri' all over it. WOAH..maybe they really adore him :B
Anyway, I still rate him highly as a player and he's one of my favourite players alongside Cesc Fabregas (:
Anyway, I'm off now. HUNGRY! Till later (:

Arsenal 1-0 Dynamo Kyiv ;D
Okay. Arsenal had so many players out. Regardless, I thought it was a good performance. And Arsenal started with a win under new captain, CESC FABREGAS (:
It seemed to be heading towards a stalemate but Nicklas Bendtner controlled the long ball from Fabregas and slotted home the winner.
Credit to Kyiv as they defended really well. They had a player sent off..and he totally deserved it.
At first, he fell to the ground acting as if he was injured. And when he realised that a free kick was not given to his team, he got up and continued running. What the hell?! He deserved the red card for that!
Regardless, I though Carlos Vela was quite good. He started alongside Van Persie in a 4-4-2 formation. I thought he did quite well..but he could have made a few more runs to complement Van Persie who was a constant threat to the opposition's defence.
But I guess that will come with practice as Vela is only 19 (:
Samir Nasri was sitting on the stands with some of the others who were out injured. And he hit Gael Clichy's butt before the Arsenal players walked into the field. That was funny. LOL.
Regardless..it was quite a good performance. The fluidity of Arsenal's attack was disrupted but I can understand that as they had so many players out injured.
Jack Wilshere came on as a substitute, and created history. He is now the youngest Gunner to play in a Champions' League match. AND HE IS MY AGE! Congrats Jack ;D
He played really well when he came on. I think he will become a really good player in the future. CHEERS, JACKY!
Djourou did well at right back. Gallas played at centre back with Silvestre, who is soon becoming a regular at Arsenal. I think Gallas had a decent match..but he did make several mistakes. But thank God, he didn't get penalised for that.
And the crowd was pretty enthusiastic..and they didn't boo Gallas..which was a good thing. Instead, they cheered him on. So I hope the support from Gooners will help Gallas settle down back to normal as soon as possible (:
So Arsenal has ensured qualification to Knockout Stage in Champions' League with this win (:
So thats good...but it should be a beginning of something bigger (:
Samir Nasri, Adebayor and Backary Sagna might be available for the weekend clash against Chelsea. So get well soon, lads (:
All right. So tomorrow is a big day (: (:
Yes, I am officially sixteen tomorrow. I can't wait. ;D
Being born so late in the year is really...sad. Cause you have to wait so long for your birthday!
Well, at least my birthday wasn't during Olevels /: LOL.
Anyway, went to SportsLink today with Mum today. Bought AUTHENTIC ARSENAL JERSEY today ;D
WOOOHOOOOO!
And heels from John Little (:
And Swensens with Tharshini, Dhanya, Shalini and Kiru on Friday. And hopefully we can catch a movie as well (:
And a lot of movies a releasing tomorrow (:
Coincidentally or not, I don't know. LOL.
Anyway, off now.
Pretty tired. I slept at 5:30am after the match..and woke up at 1pm. LOL.
And I ate lunch at 3pm. HAHA.
Anyway, off now.

I'll fight to bring glory
NEW Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas has sounded the rallying cry round The Emirates and vowed: I’m 100 per cent committed to this club and I will do everything I can to make us successful again. Fabregas, 21, has a huge task to help restore the Gunners’ battered pride as they lose touch with the Premier League pacesetters.
However, after being installed as captain by manager Arsene Wenger yesterday, the Spanish midfield maestro promised: “We are strong enough to get through these difficult times.
“We have shown we can come back from problems before — and we can do it again.”
He added: “Right now is not the best moment for Arsenal and we have to admit that, because everybody knows some of the results have not been good.
“But people can see we have quality players and that we have a lot of good youngsters coming through.
“We want to show just how good we are.
“We have to prove that all the criticism we have had is not justified — that we are together and that we are one of the best teams in the country and in Europe.”
Fabregas, the second-youngest Arsenal skipper after Tony Adams, will lead the Gunners in tonight’s Champions League Group G clash against Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev at The Emirates.
He added: “It is a real honour for me to be captain of one of the biggest clubs in the world and I feel very proud. I will give it my best and try to take the team forward.
“I don’t think it matters about my age. I have a lot of experience in terms of the amount of football I’ve played for Arsenal and I know all my team-mates very well.
“But I realise that being captain is a big responsibility.
“I’ve talked with the manager about the job and he was very positive about me.
“I don’t want to go into everything that was said because that is between us but I know I have his confidence.”
Fabregas got the job after French defender William Gallas was stripped of the armband for criticising the team in an interview last week.
Yet Fabregas, the team’s midfield driving force, does not believe it will make for a difficult atmosphere in the dressing room.
He added: “What has gone on with William is in the past now.
“He’s a great guy and I respect him a lot.
“This club has had some of the greatest captains ever — like Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Tony Adams.
“I didn’t know Adams but people have told me about how important he was at Arsenal and, obviously, I’ve had help from Patrick and Thierry. I know as well that if I need William he will be there for me.
“Being captain won’t change me as a person. I’m the same guy and the same player.
“I’m not the type who shouts at everyone and I won’t change that. It’s up to all of us to take responsibility for getting things right again. It’s not just up to one player — it’s up to the whole team to stick together.”
Fabregas added: “Unfortunately, we have also had a lot of injuries, as we did at the end of last season. It hasn’t all been in our control.
“Now this is a big week for us and we have to go game by game.
“We want to qualify for the Champions League knockout stage by beating Dynamo Kiev and then we want to try and win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
“That will be a massive game for us and if we can win it, things can change round again and people will believe in us more.”
Arsenal left-back Gael Clichy offered his wholehearted support to Fabregas.
The French ace, 23, said: “I hope Cesc will do well and I’m sure he will. His performance over the last couple of years has been fantastic.
“It’s a good choice from the boss and all the players will give him the support he needs to be one of the best.
“He’s really important for our team. He’s a major player.
“It’s a new start, a fresh start and we really want to work together and, while we can’t hide what’s happened, we want to do well.
“When you experience bad moments, you become stronger. I hope this will make us stronger.”
Adapted from The Sun
Okay..Arsenal finally has a captain. And I'm happy that it was like my favourite player at Arsenal.
All the best to him..hope he does well (;
GO FABREGAS! (:
Its important to forgive and forget.
And I just hope that...Arsenal players would forgive Gallas and forget those bitter incidents that occurred over the past week.
I mean..I know its like pretty hard..but now is the time to stick together and strive for wins..and for that its important to work as a team (:
Samir Nasri and Abou Diaby are out injured for the midweek Champions' League clash..so thats like nine first team players out injured.
But Merida and Jay Simpson from the Reserves have been called up..so it will be interesting to see them on their Champions' League debut in their career and for Arsenal. (:
And Merida was an ex-Barcelona player..well he didn't play in their first team but was there as a trainee before Arsenal signed him when he was sixteen (:
So..hope he does well. And there have been comparisons between Merida and Cesc Fabregas. So it will be nice to see this 17-year-old step up.
All right then. Keep the faith.

When we first met, I never felt something so strong
You were like my lover and my best friend
All wrapped into one with a ribbon on it
And all of a sudden you went and left
I didn't know how to follow
It's like a shock that spun me around
And now my heart's dead
I feel so empty and hollow
And I'll never give myself to another the way I gave it to ya (to ya)
Don't even recognize the ways you hurt me, do ya (do ya)?
It's gonna take a miracle to bring me back
And you are the one to blame
And now I feel like - ooh!
You're the reason why I'm thinking
I don't wanna smoke on these cigarettes no more
I guess that's what i get for wishful thinking
Should've never let you enter my door
Next time you wanna go on and leave
I should just let you go on and do it
'Cause now I'm using like I bleed
It's like I checked in to rehab
And baby, you're my disease
It's like I checked in to rehab
And baby, you're my disease
I've gotta check in to rehab
'Cause baby you're my disease
I've gotta check in to rehab
'Cause baby you're my disease
Damn, ain't it crazy when you're loveswept
You'd do anything for the one you love
Cause anytime that you needed me, I'd be there
Its like you were my favorite drug
The only problem was that you was using me
In a different way that I was using you
But now that I know that it's not meant to be
You gotta go, I gotta wean myself off of you
And I'll never give myself to another the way I gave it to ya (to ya)
Don't even recognize the ways you hurt me, do ya?
It's gonna take a miracle to bring me back
And you are the one to blame
Cause now I feel like - ooh!
You're the reason why I'm thinking
I don't wanna smoke on these cigarettes no more
I guess that's what i get for wishful thinking
Should've never let you enter my door
Next time you wanna go on and leave
I should just let you go on and do it

And baby, you're my disease
It's like I checked in to rehab
And baby, you're my disease
I've gotta check in to rehab
'Cause baby you're my disease
I've gotta check in to rehab
'Cause baby you're my disease
Oh - Oh
Now ladies gimme that..
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh-Oh
Oh Oh Ouh Oh
Now gimme that
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh-Oh
Oh Oh Ouh Oh
Now ladies gimme that..
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh-Oh
Oh Oh Ouh Oh
Now gimme that
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh-Oh

Went out with Vandy today..and it was super fun (:
Thanks for the birthday present! I really appreciate it (: And it makes me feel even more guilty for not getting you a Birthday present..YET.
Vandy came to my house in the morning..we chatted. Then I went to bathe.
Then we ate lunch at my place and then we went to Plaza Sing to watch Madagascar 2(:
Actually we were supposed to go to Cineleisure..but we missed our stop and we were too lazy to walk back. So we went to Plaza Sing (:
Madagascar was SUPER nicee. Its superrr funnyy! HAHA.
I laughed like bad during the show.
AND..Before the show started, they played my FAVOURITE PEPSI ADVERTISEMENT featuring CESC FABREGAS, Thierry Henry, Lampard, Beckham, Messi and Ronaldinho.
The one they played before I watched Made of Honour and Shalini and I screamed..leaving Kiru clueless between the both of us. LOL.
Sorry Kiru, Clichy was not in that advertisement. LOL.
And they played another advertisement and they showed Fabregas scoring a goal in it. WOOAAHH!
After watching the show we walked around Plaza Sing like fools. LOL.
We had barely anything to do. And the coke we drank was super sweet..even though Vandy loved it. LOL.
And then we decided to come to my house. We gossiped a lot in the bus..then came home and talked more crap. LOL.
And she just left...like about an hour ago (:
Thanks Vandy..was really fun today (: (:
And I learnt the correct pronunciation of Carrefour..and all the while I've been pronouncing it wrongly /:

Fábregas has the spirit to exorcise the ghost of Gallas
Cesc Fábregas offers Arsène Wenger the chance to heal a divided camp
If he is not named the club's new captain, then Arsène Wenger may well compound one great error of judgement over his club captain with another. He is the only sensible choice if the team are to forge a new identity and spirit. Frankly, he has behaved like a captain-elect for most of Gallas's fraught term. He might be fatigued. He might be young - at 21 years and seven months he is only just older than Tony Adams was when he became Arsenal's youngest ever captain. No matter. He is bright, reasonable, talkative, inspiring and quite prepared to fight whatever battle is necessary on behalf of his team.
Arsenal clearly need new direction on the pitch, and although there are some willing performers whose hearts are in the right place, such as Gaël Clichy or Kolo Touré, and although Manuel Almunia was yesterday given the position in terms of seniority, none of them has anything like Fabregas's force of personality, or the same level of international respect and status.
Back in August, Fábregas spoke enthusiastically about taking the armband at Arsenal one day. 'I would love it,' he said. 'I respect all decisions. I am a player that accepts nearly everything. I am happy with everything, my number 4, playing for Arsenal in centre midfield and giving 100 per cent every, every game. But if the boss thinks in one or two years I am ready to be captain, I will take the armband.'
After Arsenal's best performance of the season, in beating Manchester United two weeks ago, Wenger dismissed the need for a captain in the old-fashioned sense. He argued that the game was so quick now you need 'shared leadership' amounting to at least six captains. Chance would be a fine thing. At this stage, he needs to concentrate on finding at least one who fits the bill.
Obviously, Fábregas could not be made captain at Eastlands as he was serving a one-match ban, but it is crucial to see who Wenger picks for Tuesday night's Champions League game against Dynamo Kiev. And the match Arsenal face immediately after that? Chelsea away. Gallas will not be sorry to give that one a miss.
In a way, his eruption has got Wenger out of a hole. It is never easy to drop a captain, yet there has been occasion recently when Gallas's performances were poor enough to warrant his omission.
So what next for the stricken defender? Wenger has been in a similar position before, with Sol Campbell, who, in effect, went on gardening leave to choose another place of employment. As Lee Dixon pointed out last night after watching his old team chronically exposed at the back, Gallas is still a competent defender and it is very much up to the player whether he has the will to return to the line-up, sans armband. Don't bank on it.
Strangely, there is a thread of defensive lynchpins who have gone into a kind of meltdown under Wenger. The manager had barely arrived at the club when Adams confronted his alcoholism. Then there was Campbell, who had a breakdown that led to his leaving the stadium and going awol halfway through a match against West Ham in 2006. Now Gallas, who - whatever your opinion of his efforts on the field as a defender or a leader - is the subject of a character assassination that looks set to drive him away from English football.
Gallas is being vilified, but there is someone else equally responsible for the disarray he caused at Arsenal. This was an accident waiting to happen from the moment Wenger selected him as captain in the summer of 2007. Gallas's personality was never suited to the job. He is intense. Sensitive. Serious. Speaking frankly is his default position.
Gallas does not have an arm-round-the-shoulder mode. And apart from anything else, he has one of the quietest, raspiest, most uncommunicative voices I have ever heard in football.
This was among the worst decisions Wenger has made in his 12 years managing Arsenal. It may even prove to be the kind of catalytic moment that brings everybody together. If the camp was as unhappy as Gallas says it was, Fábregas's anointment will be a timely blessing.
Adapted from The Guardian.co.uk
All right. Crisis-to put it in a word.
I can't believe Gallas actually betrayed Arsenal...the last thing you want is for your own captain to betray you..and that has happened.
That just worsens this week for Arsenal after Walcott's injury which rules him out for 3 months.
And Arsenal is without approximately ten players..as all of them are injured.
And it also includes Gallas who has been stripped off his captaincy...and it remains unknown whether he would play for Arsenal at all in the future.
The main candidates for the captaincy are Almunia, Clichy and Fabregas. And I would suggest either Cesc or Clichy..well Clichy was part of the Invincibles, even though he didn't play that many games during that legendary season.
So he has been around for quite some time..so he might be a good option to consider. Plus, he seems like a pretty dedicated player and he has the backing of his team-mates, cause he's not cocky like Gallas was. He might be pretty young, only 23. However, lets not forget that the legendary Tony Adams was only 21 when he took up captaincy and he was arguably one of the best captains Arsenal has ever had alongside Patrick Vieira.
Cesc has enough responsibilities on-pitch to deal with, not to mention he's still working his way back to top form. So it would be a tough call, assuming Gallas IS permanently stripped off his captaincy. Maybe Cesc could be Vice Cap first..before taking up full-time captaincy in one of the future seasons. Well, let's just wait and see who's given the captain's armband.
I really thought Gallas was a really good captain last season. Mainly because he was an established player for France already and he would have the respect of his team-mates, who are mostly French. But its always much easier to lead a team that is easily cruising to victories. The real challenge comes when the team is struggling or has a dip in form. And Gallas has shown..that he is not capable.
But it was quite...mean of him to pointing fingers to his team-mates. I mean..COME ON. Bust-ups do occur in the dressing room..even in the training ground! WHY? Cause the players care about the club! They want to win games! And this is common with every club. But you don't go to the media and tell them about the bust-ups in dressing room! Especially the captain! He's the one who's supposed to try to ease friction or ensure such things don't happen.
I'm pretty certain Gallas has lost most of the respect his team-mates had for him. Well he sort of openly criticized them! Namely Samir Nasri and Robin van Persie..even though he didn't give names it was kind of obvious who he was referring to!
Seems like the captain can be responsible for the cracks in the dressing room in this case at least. Would John Terry do this to Chelsea? Or would Steven Gerrard do this to Liverpool? Gallas is a ____. Fill in the words..I'm sure its not that difficult to figure out.
Digressing, every team goes through a period like this during the course of the season. The challenge is how they come out of this. And Arsenal a point to prove. Usually they either start badly and finish well or start well and finish badly. The former is probably for this season..but whether they finish well remains to be seen. I mean..in 05/06, they started pretty badly but managed to get to Champions' League Final. And they broke a number of records en route to final, where they lost to Barcelona (unfortunately, where they finished with ten men). They didn't start 04/05 season THAT WELL..but they finished second at the end of season and won the FA Cup.
So..there is a shimmer of hope. But its down to Arsenal to capitalise on the chances they have now. They have a point to prove..and let them prove me wrong and tell me that they are real contenders this season. Not only in Premier League, but also in Champions' League, FA Cup and the League Cup.
Digressing back to my life.
Shakti came over to my house on Friday. SUPER FUN!
She told me a lot of stories..and it was super fun. I don't think I've talked that much..to the point that my mouth felt painful. I AM SERIOUS.
Had lunch and dinner at my place..went to Causeway to watch City of Ember. Its SUPER NICE!
I love it. The plot is well thought about. The effects were really nice too. And I think the male lead was the one who played Edmund in Chronicles of Narnia sequel. (PRINCE CASPIAN IS THE BEST!)
And we were looking at movies in a CD shop. And the shop was playing Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. OMG. CASPIAN IS HOTTTT.
Then came home. We youtubed for a while..and I spent one entire hour talking about Arsenal.
I need a person to listen to all of my lamenting. LOL.
And I really appreciate it (: For listening..and for consoling me. (:
And she left my place at about 8pm. I tell you..I was soo happy to catch up with her after such a long timee. I love you, pig (:
And I have a long list of movies to watch.
1) TWILIGHT (Kiru! You promised!)
2) Body of Lies
3) Quarantine
4) REC (Second time)
5) KM31 (Its SPANISH! MUST WATCH)
6) The Dutchess
7) The Tattooist (watch online)
8) Prison Break Season 4 Episodes 4-11
9) Heroes Season 2
10) Wild Child
And a few others.
(Akshaya is reading about Gallas being stripped off his captaincy online.)
Dad: Why are you so serious and sad?
Akshaya: Huh? I am thinking!
Dad: About what? You aren't the coach of Arsenal to worry about such things!
Akshaya: Huh? But its still the club I love! I bet you would be super worried if its Man United!
Dad: Hmm..Actually yea. But don't wprry..I'm sure they'd bounce back.
Akshaya: I hope so.
For once my Dad didn't give crude comments about Arsenal. LOL.
Anyway, gotta go.
BUH-BYEEE!
MICHAEL SCOFIELD ROCKS.

I miss Henry and Vieira. Those were the times ):
Spain 3-0 Chile ;D
Cesc played full ninety minutes (:
Torres, Villa and Cazorla scored (:
Didn't watch the match so I don't know how it went.
France 0-0 Uruguay
A stalemate. Nasri substituted Gourcuff at seventieth minute. Gallas and Ribery played full game. Vieira played till half-time. Henry played till like seventieth minute. Not sure about Clichy and Silvestre cause I didn't watch the match. But from the reviews I read, it said that France was frustrated by Uruguay..so they probably created a lot chances or a lot of half chances but failed to convert them.
Anyway, nothing much. Shalini and Kiru came over yesterday and it was fun to the maximum! Went to the gym in the morning for one hour with Kiru. We did a lot youtubing..and Shalini was touched by Nasri's video. The one which was taken when he was like..around ten I think. And also the French Ligue 06/07 Awards Ceremony when Nasri won the Young Player of the Year. Shalini found them touching especially the video they played after he got the award. I think they are pretty inspirational. And we watched Nasri's second goal against Man United and Kiru and Shali found Cesc's and Nasri's celebration funny and cute. LOL. The way Cesc pulled Nasri and jumped onto his back. HAHA. And they were wondering how Nasri striked for the goal..HAHA. And they watched the after match interview of William Gallas and Cesc and Kiru could not understand the way Gallas spoke English. HAHA. It was super funny..the way she tried to decipher what he was saying. HAHAHA. And we watched Clichy's interview and several Cesc interviews..and one SUPER FUNNY Adebayor interview. HAHAH. And several fanzones. Shalini thinks Gourcuff is hott (: (: HE IS SUPER HOT. And we ate and talked and talked and they left at about six. Then I went for dental. Gosh the doctor pressed on my gums until it started bleeding! Anyway, came back home, read books...then watched Step Up and Step Up 2 The Streets. OMG. I LOVE THOSE TWO MOVIES. And I wanna watch REC again (: And I wanna watch The Dutchess, Quarantine (Even though instinct tells me its gonna suck), Body of Lies..and a few others. MOVIE MARATHON!
Anyway, gotta go. PRISON BREAK SEASON 4 IS THE BOMB! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
Anyway, I gotta go as I've been using the com for like..4 hours?! Yea..
BUH-BYEE!
He is HOT! Yoann Gourcuff from AC Milan (:Labels: I miss the invincibles
REC!
RATING: 5/5 (It rockedd!)
OMG. This movie is like arguably the best one I've watched so far this yearrrr!
Things that make this movie a total must-watch:
1) ITS SPANISH! How often do you get to watch a Spanish movie?!
2) IT WAS FILMED IN BARCELONA, CATALONIA! OMG. I LOVE BARCELONA! AND CATALONIA!
3) It was very real. Like you can really feel the emotions of the characters and put yourself in their shoes and experience what they are going through.
4) SCARY! Well, I don't really fancy horror movies but this one was FANTASTIC. Well, its not REALLY horror, as in, its not like ghost or spirit kind of horror. Its more of gore. Yea..and they reallyy brought out the story and effects.
5) Its an award winning movie! It has gotten like numerous awards. Just that it has been released like soo late in Singapore.
So I have already watched REC which is like equivalent to Quarantine cause Quarantine is the remake of REC. But I have this strong feeling that REC would be better than Quarantine cause usually the original version is better than the remade one. Regardless, I am going to watch both so that I can see whether they improvised REC in Quarantine.
And the last part is like SUPERR scaryy! Like really. To the extent that Shalini, the fearless creature, closed her eyes. And I screamed like several times. And even though it was pretty cold inside the theatre, I didn't feel it cause I was so engrossed in the movie that I wasn't even eating Shalini's chips properly. And she kept complaining that I was making noise while eating chips /:
And its quite gory as well...but I think Saw is worse. I think..but it has been a long time since I watched Saw. So yea. And Shalini, a total critic, gave the movie 4/5..which is pretty high for her. Well I am more generous and I will give it 5/5. And I was actually underaged by 10 DAYS cause you have to be sixteen in order to watch the movie as its rated NC16. But thank god! They didn't check before we entered...I thought I might have to switch to Madagascar if I wasn't allowed in. But luckily, I got in (: And anyway, its not like my mentality is going to change THAT much over the next 10 days (: HAHAH. And the directors of REC are making it into a sequel. OMGGG! And they have released posters of REC2 in Spain. OMGG! But it will take super long before it gets released here ): ): And I am SOO gonna get the VCD for this movie..hopefully I can find one with subtitles. The way they speak Spanish SO fast really impresses me. I loveee Spanish (:
So I met Shalini at about 12 noon at Yio Chu Kang MRT Station, where she got onto the train with me. Then we went to Plaza Sing..and we caught the 1pm show. Then after the movie, we roamed around Plaza Sing for a while..and we considered watching Madagascar..but I think we should watch it with Tharsh..cause I think she wants to watch it (: And hopefully Dhanya too. And we considered watching the Richard Gere movie but we were put off after hearing the sypnosis. Then went to Starbucks and I got THAT drink. OMG. It was super nice. And the boy who was sitting beside me kept looking at my drink. It was filled with cream and chocolate (: And I BET Kiru would have gulped it down in one go cause it was sooo nicee! Then we went to Cineleisure to take neos and then eat..I took Shalini's garlic bread (:
And we talked crap and then Shalini walked me to Wheelock and then mrt-ed home. And we donated ten bucks for some unemployment things /; Met Mum at Wheelock and went to get i-pod cover..and she went to Lucky Plaza to buy some random things. And then came home. And I walked SO MUCH today. And it was sooo hot today! GLOBAL WARMING.
Anyway..here I am crapping. Talked to Shakti for like 1 whole hour yesterday! WOAH. So glad to catch up with her after such a long time (: FRIDAY! (:
And I think Shalini and Kiru are coming over on Wednesday (:
All rights. Nothing much to say anyway. I miss Arsenal..yes, even it they're playing crap now I will always love Arsenal more than anything else. Anyway, gotta go now.
BUH-BYEE!
